Generate and review a video clip

Configure video generation

Select the video node to review its prompt and generation settings. You can edit the prompt directly, or ask the workbench Agent on the right to help with a specific change. This right-side assistant belongs to the Drama workbench; it is different from the top-level Agent mode on the home page.

Video preflight

Before a higher-quality generation, use a lower-cost preview to identify problems with composition, action, prop state, continuity, timing, and text. Keep the full shot duration when timing is part of the test; lowering only the resolution can preserve the sequence while reducing cost.

Initiate video generation

Open the settings menu below the prompt and choose the generation method, duration, aspect ratio, quality, audio, and quantity. The live estimate updates before submission. For the verified clip, changing quality from 720p to 480p reduced the estimate from 320 to 150 credits while keeping the complete 13-second duration and audio.

View generated results

While the task runs, the video node shows a progress indicator. When it finishes, the node becomes playable and the current clip card in the Timeline displays a green check mark. Open Preview to inspect the video together with its bound references, prompt, model, ratio, resolution, duration, and generation time.

This preview preserved Milo, the shop environment, and the Silver Lantern across the clip, but it also exposed two issues worth fixing before a final render: the lantern's light state was not perfectly consistent, and the generated label was not reliably legible. Revise the prompt or reference assets for state continuity, and add exact wording as a controlled text layer in the editor.

Continue with the next clip

After reviewing the current clip, switch to the next Timeline card and repeat Import All, reference and prompt review, configuration, preview generation, and acceptance. Use the prior clip's final frame as a reference when visual continuity between clips matters.

Use Production canvas operations

Human review

Character references may display a human-review status on the canvas. Check that required references have passed review before using them in video generation.

Import and update

The import portal on the left side of the canvas can bring in the current clip or available project assets. If you change assets or the storyboard after the first import, import again and verify which nodes and connections were updated.

Restore resources from generation history

If you delete content on the canvas by mistake, you can open the "Generation History" on the left to retrieve previously produced images, videos, or other resources from the history.

Upload assets in batches

When uploading assets in batches, you can open the folder, select the files to be uploaded, and drag them directly into the canvas. After the upload is completed, the image or video will be added to the canvas as a new node.

Once the current clip has been generated, the end-to-end workflow is working. Continue through the remaining clips, then create the next episode after the current episode is complete.

Complete an episode and continue a series

1. Complete the current episode

Once the current clip is complete, continue through the remaining clips until the episode is finished.

(1) Manually switch to the next segment of the Timeline.

(2) Let the Agent switch to the next segment.

(3) Repeat the preparation and generation workflow for the next clip.

(4) Follow the same method to complete the video generation of all segments of the entire episode.

2. Check production progress

Once all segments of the current episode are completed, production for the episode comes to an end. At this time, you can open the menu from the Vitent icon in the upper left corner, return to the project homepage or view all projects.

On the project details page, you can view all episode information and production status under the current project through the episode list. This is not a simple backend management page, but the entrance to the acceptance of the entire episode and the continuous production of multiple episodes.

3. Create the next episode

If you want to continue producing the next episode, you can click "New Episode" on the project details page. After the new episode is created, it will enter the new episode workbench and continue production using the previous creation process.

You can also continue to use Agent in the project details or workbench to assist in preparing the script, assets, and storyboards for the next episode, extending the production of a single episode into continuous production of multiple episodes.
